Olympic Weightlifting in College Station
The exclusive home of Texas A&M Weightlifting. Eight dedicated platforms, ten Eleiko bars and a USA Weightlifting sanctioned meet run on our own floor. Snatch and Clean & Jerk in a facility built for it, whether it is your first time lifting or you are training for a meet.
A facility built for the lifts
Most gyms tolerate Olympic weightlifting. A bar gets dropped, someone gives you a look, and you end up snatching in a corner on a rubber mat. Here you get eight dedicated platforms and weights that are meant to be dropped.

Coaching and competition
Austin Widmer
Coach for the Texas A&M Weightlifting team, as well as local lifters. Austin has 5+ years of coaching experience and has coached lifters at the national level.
Coaching is arranged directly with him.
The Texas A&M Weightlifting Open
Sanctioned under USA Weightlifting and run on our own floor. We are the only facility in Bryan–College Station sanctioned under both USAW and USA Powerlifting.
Which means the platform you train on all year is the platform you compete on.
Drop-ins are welcome, and there is no separate weightlifting fee — the platforms are included in every membership. See membership and pricing.
Come and pull on a real platform
A tour takes about fifteen minutes — no pitch, no clipboard. We will show you the platforms, the bars and the blocks, and you can decide from there.
